TransPerfect Translations International in Buenos Aires is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to manage translation projects from initiation to delivery. You will collaborate with the production team to estimate scope, budget and timelines, and ensure client instructions are understood and followed.

The role requires excellent English communication, strong problem solving and project management experience, and a proactive approach to client service within an ISO-aligned environment.

Formación

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferably in linguistic/translation related studies)
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Substantial customer service and/or project management experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Effective time management
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Ability to prioritize and schedule tasks and work in a team environment.
• Must be willing to learn new things, be open to challenges and thrive on success

Responsabilidades

• Respond to client requests for new project initiatives through our centralized technology.
• Collaborate with production team to assess scope and produce cost and timeline estimates for translation projects.
• Initiate all project work by providing detailed budget, schedule and instructions to the project team
• Address pitfalls with the client before submission to the production team
• Take a proactive role in learning about clients’ industry and needs, and provide high level service
• Monitor and communicate project progress, ensure deadlines and budgets are met
• Serve as central liaison between external client and internal production staff
• Set and fulfill client expectations
• Comply with internal regulations and ISO standards
• Troubleshoot problem projects when needed
• Understand and communicate project instructions to production team
• Investigate client complaints when applicable
• Discuss issues with clients and production staff and solve problems creatively
