ABB is seeking a procurement professional to purchase materials in line with technical specs, price, delivery schedules, and terms. You will ensure activities align with corporate policies and help identify new suppliers with the category team.

Responsabilidades

• Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to requisitions and standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers.
• Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.
• Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.
• Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification business area in Bella Vista, Tucuman.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.
• Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.
• Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.
• Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.

Qualifications for the role

Degree in Engineering or Economic Sciences (advanced student or recent graduate) with a focus on developing analytical and negotiation skills. You are highly skilled in SAP, Excel, Power BI. You have 1-3 years of experience in procurement, demonstrating your ability to work with suppliers and manage purchasing processes. You are passionate about teamwork, customer service, and enjoy interacting with users, bringing a service-oriented mindset to your work. You are at ease communicating in English at an intermediate level.
