Job summary

Aon plc in Buenos Aires is seeking a Senior Broker to lead end-to-end risk placements, coordinate the Broking team, and align client needs with insurer and reinsurer capabilities in a hybrid office setting.

The ideal candidate has strong English for international meetings, a client-oriented mindset with advanced negotiation skills, knowledge of insurance and/or reinsurance structures, and energy industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Advanced English, allowing for active involvement in professional meetings, presentations and negotiations with international markets.
• Strong client orientation, commercial mentality and complex negotiation skills.
• Experience in insurance and/or reinsurance, ideally in broking or underwriting; knowledge of coverage structures.
• Experience in Energy industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end management of the business line, coordinating risk placements and ensuring driven solutions aligned with client needs.
• Be a great partner with clients and markets, participating in meetings, negotiations and presentations while strengthening long-term partnerships.
• Negotiate terms, conditions and capacity with insurers and reinsurers, seeking to optimize coverage alternatives and commercial conditions.
• Coordinate and develop the Broking team by setting priorities, providing technical support and promoting capability development.
• Drive growth opportunities by identifying new business alternatives, cross-selling opportunities and solutions that contribute to the portfolio.
• Monitor the portfolio and key business indicators, following up on renewals, pipeline, results and priorities, and coordinating with the relevant internal teams.
