Job summary

Halter is building a regional finance and operations hub in Buenos Aires. You will own monthly invoicing and collections for Argentina and Uruguay, ensuring accurate, on-time electronic invoices and clear customer communication.

This entry-level role offers real responsibility: you’ll help shape how billing works as the region grows and be a key contact for customers with billing questions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in billing, accounts receivable, administration or a customer-facing role.
• Good understanding of how customer payments work in Argentina and Uruguay.
• Strong attention to detail and genuine follow-through.
• Clear, friendly and professional manner with customers.
• Fluency in Spanish and good working English.
• Solid Excel or Google Sheets skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer invoicing: accurate, on-time electronic invoices for subscriptions and hardware in both countries, compliant with local e-invoicing requirements.
• Collections: following up overdue accounts with customers, courteously and persistently.
• Billing queries: being the first point of contact for customer billing questions, working with our Sales and Customer Success teams to resolve them.
• Customer account records: keeping contract, pricing and billing details accurate and up to date.
• Receivables reporting: keeping the overdue picture visible to the Controller every week.
• Cash reconciliation: reconciling the cash receipts to the invoices, and issuing any relevant debit or credit memos.
