Job summary

Spartan Investment Group is seeking an HR Generalist to support HR operations across the United States and Puerto Rico. The role covers payroll, benefits administration, onboarding and offboarding, compliance, performance management, training, and employee records.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5–7 years of HR experience, strong English communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, performance management, and lifecycle processes.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to address employee relations, policies, and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct investigations and collaborate with legal counsel as needed.
• Support visa and immigration matters with external counsel.
• Manage performance management and organizational changes.
• Maintain and update handbooks, policies, and procedures for compliance.
• Monitor changes in federal, state, and local laws including wage requirements and leave laws.
• Develop and deliver trainings on leadership, policies, and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and drive scalable solutions.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment with confidentiality and integrity.
