Ramp is seeking a backend engineer to design and scale systems powering spend controls and card transactions at scale. You’ll work across product surfaces, collaborate with product, design, and data teams, and integrate with Ramp’s AI platform to automate policy enforcement and anomaly detection.

You’ll own complex projects end-to-end—from architecture to deployment and observability—contributing to reliability and performance of billions of dollars in transactions daily.

Formación

• Experience building backend or backend-focused fullstack systems.
• Strong API design fundamentals and scalable architectures.
• Proficiency with Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and AWS tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and scale backend systems powering spend controls and card transactions.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams for user-first experiences.
• Integrate with AI platforms to automate policy enforcement and anomaly detection.
