Job summary

Kraken is seeking an Enterprise AI Platform Engineer to design and scale the technical layer of our internal AI platform, from integration surface to production runbook. You will own the governed integration gateway, manage onboarding and authentication flows, and build tooling that extends the platform for the rest of the organization.

The role requires hands-on software skills (Python), experience with LLM APIs, and strong identity/access knowledge.

Qualifications

• Enterprise SaaS admin for 1000+ seats, incl. AI/LLM platform.
• Ability to build and ship software; Python or similar language
• Experience integrating with LLM and SaaS APIs; agent/tool patterns
• Knowledge of identity, access, OAuth, SCIM, SSO
• Operational discipline: SLAs, runbooks, escalation
• Strong written communication; ability to explain tech to varied audiences
• Judgment to distinguish must-have capabilities from demos

Responsibilities

• Design and build the technical layer of the AI platform from integration surface to production runbook.
• Own the governed integration gateway: onboarding, OAuth, federated identity, reliability.
• Develop internal tooling: scaffolding, prompt assets, evaluation harnesses, provisioning automation.
• Configure tiered spend controls across the AI estate; governance and cost reconciliation.
• Implement data handling, retention policies, and workspace configuration with model classes.
• Collaborate with teams to unblock workflows and enable leverage from tools.
• Lead technical enablement: tool rollouts, office hours, and knowledge-base material.
• Manage the AI estate end-to-end: model turn ups, provisioning, vendor configs.
