Job summary

Atomic HR's client is a mission-driven digital marketing agency hiring an Account Manager to own day-to-day partner success in the higher education and nonprofit sectors. You’ll manage campaigns, coordinate with account directors, and ensure timely deliverables while building strong client relationships.

The role is fully remote, paid in USD as a contractor, with US Central time hours and opportunities to grow as the agency expands. LATAM flexibility and unlimited PTO are included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of current, hands-on digital marketing for clients, at an agency or your own practice.
• Technical grounding in conversion tracking, tags, ad account structure, or launching sites
• Daily use of Claude and the tools that connect to it, plus something you've built with them
• Near-native English for client calls and written updates
• Experience running several client accounts at once, often with multiple locations
• Brand and copy judgment you can explain and defend
• Comfort working with minimal oversight

Responsibilities

• Be the main day-to-day contact for assigned partners, keeping communication clear, proactive, and partner-first
• Run partner check-ins for owned accounts with strong agendas, alignment notes, and follow-through
• Translate partner needs into actionable internal direction and keep detailed records on scope, deliverables, and status
• Coordinate campaigns end-to-end, ensuring timelines, quality, and scope stay tight
• Monitor performance with the paid media team, pull reports, and surface insights that drive smarter decisions
• Keep creative, media, and analytics teams aligned so execution stays smooth and predictable
• Track progress against partner goals including budget pacing, inquiries, applications, and enrollments
• Spot retention, renewal, and upsell opportunities early and support proposals alongside the Account Director
• Jump into onboarding and new business support when needed to help partnerships start strong
• Assist with account financial health by supporting reporting accuracy and following up on invoicing as requested
