Job summary

AgileEngine seeks an Automation QA Engineer to own automation for desktop and mobile apps while continuing manual validation. You will build robust test suites, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and drive quality across features.

You will work with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium for mobile, and leverage AI tools to enhance testing. This role offers flexible remote/work options and a focus on holistic quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and hands-on manual testing.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.
• Experience testing Electron and React Native apps, including on iOS/Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and evaluating their outputs.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts to support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation against defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, and performance tests.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior and test results.
• Identify and report test risks and collaborate with product teams.
• Maintain automation repositories in GitHub and run scripts in CI.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability and acceptance criteria.
