Qualifications

• Professional level of English proficiency (writing, speaking, reading, and listening).
• Able to work in Pacific Standard Time (PST) 7 am - 4 pm.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Familiarity with Slack for team communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time, based on contracts, purchase orders, and project milestones.
• Verify billing details (rates, quantities, PO numbers, customer data) against contracts and supporting documentation before invoicing.
• Coordinate with project managers and operations to gather billable information and confirm completed work.
• Process invoice adjustments, credit memos, and change orders when necessary.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer and billing records in QBO.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all issued invoices and supporting backup.
• Support month-end billing cutoff and reconcile billed vs. unbilled revenue.
• Respond to customer billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

We need a competent Accounting Analyst who can thrive in a business that is growing rapidly. This role will report to our Senior Accountant. Compensation is $1,500 - $2,000 USD per month depending on qualifications, experience, and what you can bring to the business.

Accounts Receivable

• Support the AR team in day-to-day collection activities
• Record and apply all customer payments accurately in QBO, matching them to the corresponding invoices
• Monitor the AR aging report and follow up on overdue balances through reminders and customer outreach
• Investigate and resolve unapplied payments, short payments, and billing disputes

Accounting Operations

• Perform periodic reviews and support audits to ensure compliance with internal financial procedures
• Assist with the monthly preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements
