Job summary

JoVE, the world-leading video platform for scientific research and education, is seeking an Accountant in Argentina. You will own day-to-day financial operations, manage accounts receivable, invoicing, revenue tracking, and support month-end close.

Requires a bachelor’s in accounting, 3–5 years experience, advanced Excel, English fluency, and knowledge of QuickBooks. We offer unlimited commissions and opportunities to work with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar field.
• 3–5 years of accounting, invoicing, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping.
• Advanced Excel skills: PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and complex formulas.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Manage accounts receivable and respond to customer billing inquiries.
• Handle daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, and accounting tasks.
• Calculate sales commissions and maintain accurate commission records.
• Track, calculate, and reconcile customer revenue.
• Prepare and send customer license agreements and follow up on signatures.
• Maintain accurate financial records, spreadsheets, and reports.
• Assist with month-end closing and other accounting-related activities.

The Role

As an Accountant at JoVE, you will take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations. In this role, you will be the backbone of our billing and revenue cycle managing accounts receivable, tracking customer revenue, calculating sales commissions, and supporting month end close.

Responsibilities
