Job summary

Vive Health is seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst to transform complex financial transactions and large datasets into clear, actionable financial insights for executive decision-making.

You will bridge traditional accounting workflows with strategic management reporting, delivering monthly to annual packages and dashboards, while maintaining SOX-compliant controls and data governance. This remote role is with a fast-growing U.S.-based company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or a quantitative business field.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience, focusing on data management and executive report preparation.
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel (complex lookups, pivot tables, data arrays, Power Query) and Tier-1 ERP systems (Odoo, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite).
• Experience developing interactive financial dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Hyperion is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages, highlighting KPIs and operational trends.
• Conduct deep-dive variance analyses comparing actual results against baselines, forecasts, and budgets.
• Translate complex accounting metrics into executive-ready dashboards and narrative briefs.
• Perform critical month-end and year-end close tasks, including accruals, journal entries, and GL validation.
• Implement reporting workflow automation to identify bottlenecks and speed data compilation.
• Ensure departmental operations adhere to internal controls and SOX framework.

• Perform critical month-end and year-end close tasks, including complex accruals, journal entry reviews, and general ledger validation.
• Implement reporting workflow automation to identify bottlenecks and accelerate data compilation.
• Ensure departmental operations adhere strictly to internal compliance parameters and SOX framework controls.

Qualifications:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or a quantitative business field.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience, focusing on data management and executive report preparation.
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel (complex lookups, pivot tables, data arrays, Power Query) and Tier-1 ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite).
• Strong analytical mindset, strategic communication, and autonomy in managing deadline-driven initiatives.

Preferred

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
• Experience developing interactive financial dashboards in systems like Power BI, Tableau, or Hyperion.
