Vamos Academy is looking for an Accommodation Manager to run our Buenos Aires housing program with autonomy. You will vet host families and landlords, match students to suitable stays, organize arrivals and transfers, and ensure housing logistics run smoothly.

You should have experience in accommodation, property, hospitality or customer service, fluent Spanish (C2) and strong English (B2+), and a solid knowledge of Buenos Aires neighbourhoods and fair rents.

Formación

• Experience in accommodation, property, hospitality or customer service.
• Spanish at C2 and English at B2 or above.
• Ability to hold several problems at once and stay calm with the one shouting loudest.
• Real knowledge of Buenos Aires neighbourhoods and what a fair rent looks like.
• The right to work in Argentina.
• A clear criminal record certificate for work with minors, which Spanish law requires for this role. We help you obtain it and we cover the cost.

Responsabilidades

• Find, visit and vet host families and landlords, and keep the catalogue current.
• Match each student to accommodation that actually fits them, which is judgement, not a spreadsheet lookup.
• Manage arrivals, departures and airport transfers, including the ones that land at 3am.
• Control prices, availability and occupancy, especially in peak season.
• Resolve problems: house rules, maintenance, and moves when a match is wrong.
• Handle contracts, invoices and payments to families and landlords.

You run the whole accommodation area for Buenos Aires, with real autonomy. Where a student sleeps decides more about their stay than the classroom does, and the complaints that hurt us most are always about a bed, never about a verb tense.

What you would actually do

About Vamos Academy

Vamos Academy is a Spanish and English language school with two campuses: one in Málaga, on Spain’s Costa del Sol, and one in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Students come to us from all over the world, some for a fortnight, some for a whole academic year, many through university exchange and Erasmus programmes.
