Vamos Academy is seeking a leader to own the Buenos Aires academic program. You will coordinate timetables, assignments, and coverage, ensuring coherent alignment with the CEFR and Rioplatense Spanish.

You will observe classes and guide teachers with honest, constructive conversations to raise quality. You will recruit and train teachers, resolve academic issues before refunds, and collaborate with the Málaga team to provide a smooth student experience across campuses.

Formación

• Spanish at C2 with ELE qualification and solid classroom experience.
• Experience coordinating a teaching team.
• Knowledge of the CEFR and well‑built syllabus design.
• English at least B2, as half the questions arrive in English.
• Right to work in Argentina.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the teaching team: timetables, assignments and cover when someone is ill on a Monday morning.
• Own the programme and keep it coherent with the CEFR and Rioplatense Spanish.
• Observe classes and help teachers improve via constructive feedback.
• Handle academic problems with students before refunds are requested.
• Recruit, induct and train new teachers.
• Collaborate with the Málaga academic team to ensure seamless student mobility.

Our Buenos Aires campus has teachers, students and a timetable, and nobody whose job is the academic whole of it. That is what this role is. You would be the first person to own it, which means you get to decide how it works rather than inherit someone else’s system.

What you would actually do

• Coordinate the teaching team: timetables, assignments and cover when someone is ill on a Monday morning.
• Own the programme and keep it coherent with the CEFR, including the Rioplatense Spanish that is the reason many students choose Buenos Aires over Spain.
• Observe classes and help teachers get better, which means having honest conversations kindly.
• Handle academic problems with students before they become refund requests.
• Recruit, induct and train new teachers.
• Work with the Málaga academic team so a student who moves between campuses does not start again.

What we are looking for

• Spanish at C2, an ELE qualification and solid classroom experience. You cannot lead teachers you could not replace.
• Experience coordinating a team, or a very clear reason to believe you could.
• Knowledge of the CEFR and of what a well-built syllabus looks like.
• English at B2 or above, because half the questions arrive in it.
• The right to work in Argentina.

About Vamos Academy

Vamos Academy is a Spanish and English language school with two campuses: one in Málaga, on Spain’s Costa del Sol, and one in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Students come to us from all over the world, some for a fortnight, some for a whole academic year, many through university exchange and Erasmus programmes.
