At Salesforce, we're seeking an outstanding individual to support the Middle East territory as a Technical Architect.

The Salesforce Cloud Technical Architect is a pre-sales customer-facing enterprise domain expert who applies broad technical skills, industry knowledge, and deep business acumen. They support sales teams in developing Salesforce value propositions aligned with our customers’ digital transformation and cloud adoption strategies. The architect is a subject matter expert in categories such as business strategy, application architecture, data & information, integration, security, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, distributed platforms, mobile, and analytics. Combining technical and sales skills, they use a consultative approach to understand business and technical requirements.

1. Business planning and strategy: Become a trusted advisor to CIO/CTO/Architect level contacts and their teams, helping them transition to cloud architecture.
2. Earn trust from prospects' and customers’ CISO/CSO/Chief Risk Officer and similar roles.
3. Present Salesforce technology infrastructure, demonstrating familiarity with platform capabilities, hosting infrastructure, security, and integration.
4. Understand customer needs and position our products as optimal solutions addressing technical and business requirements.
5. Conduct architecture and technical workshops, including enablement sessions.
6. Manage customer technical due diligence and risk management processes.
7. Collaborate with internal teams such as alliances, solution engineering, industry business units, and product marketing to develop and execute programs.
8. Assist sales teams with RFP responses and technical documentation.
9. Participate in product, sales, and procedural training to maintain effectiveness.
10. Achieve quarterly and annual objectives set by management.
11. Mentor and guide junior technical resources.

1. Multi-year experience in software, system, or enterprise architecture disciplines.
2. Good understanding of cloud platform principles, including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, and multi-tiered infrastructure.
