The Accountant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting and general ledger maintenance. The successful candidate will also be expected to assist with financial audits, budgeting activities, cost analysis, developing financial models and preparing tax returns. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Reconciling accounts on a daily basis
- Preparing month-end and year-end closing statements
- Assisting with budgeting activities such as forecasting revenues and expenses
- Preparing reports such as cash flow statements, income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents as required
