• Installation and Setup : Install new kitchen equipment, set up systems, and calibrate them to ensure that all equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications.
• Preventative Maintenance : Conduct routine preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts to prevent breakdowns and extend the life of kitchen equipment.
• System Optimization : Ensure kitchen equipment is functioning at optimal efficiency, focusing on energy savings, water conservation, and reducing downtime during peak service hours.
• Safety Compliance : Ensure all kitchen equipment complies with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines. Implement and adhere to safety standards when handling kitchen equipment.

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Certification or training in kitchen equipment maintenance, HVAC, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience : Proven experience as a Kitchen Technician or in a similar maintenance role. Experience working with commercial kitchen equipment is essential.
• Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of kitchen systems and equipment, including cooking appliances, refrigeration units, and dishwashing systems.
• Problem‑Solving : Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with kitchen equipment efficiently and accurately to minimize downtime.
