Procurement Engineer Job Location UAE Key Responsibilities Identify evaluate and select suppliers capable of meeting project requirements Negotiate contracts terms and pricing agreements with vendors Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues promptly Source and procure construction materials specialized equipment and tools according to project specifications Coordinate with project managers and engineers to understand technical requirements and ensure procurement aligns with project schedules Analyze costs prepare cost estimates and develop budgets for procurement activities Implement costsaving strategies and initiatives without compromising on quality or project timelines Coordinate logistics for timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites Manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability and minimize holding costs Review and finalize purchase orders and contracts in collaboration with legal and project management teams Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements Job Details Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management Supply Chain Management or related field Proven experience as a Procurement Engineer or similar role in the fabrication or construction industry Deep understanding of Fabrication materials Aluminum Glass and procurement processes Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively Experience with sourcing and procuring construction materials Metal fabrication and equipment from local and international markets Knowledge of industry regulations standards and best practices Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic work environment
