Brief Introduction to the School:This reputable private school in Abu Dhabi caters to students from KG to Grade 12. The spacious campus is split into KG, Primary, and High School sections for boys and girls, with a total enrollment of 2725 students, predominantly of Arabic origin (95% are Emirati). The school is committed to developing students into critical thinkers and responsible, productive citizens of their own society and the world community.

• A passionate and dedicated General Science teacher
• An educator who can create engaging and dynamic lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
• A professional with a strong understanding of the IBcurriculum and the ability to manage a classroom effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of students

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IBcurriculum
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success

Additional Duties:

• Support extracurricular activities and contribute to the school community
• Participate in professional development opportunities

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject supported by a relevant teaching certificate (copy of degree and transcripts must be provided upon application).
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching
• Previous experience with the IB curriculum is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to deliver motivating and creative learning experiences
