On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Executive Sous Chef - Steakhouse by Alain Ducasse to join the resort's Food & Beverage team.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure every guest enjoys high-quality products and exceptional culinary experiences, with each dish reflecting artistry, precision, and the highest standards of excellence.
  • Address requests promptly and resolve complaints to guests' satisfaction.
  • Coach, motivate, counsel, and evaluate kitchen staff to maintain peak performance.
  • Conduct departmental training sessions and develop clear operating procedures.
  • Monitor adherence to kitchen procedures, correcting deviations swiftly through on-the-job training.
  • Assess food quality standards and coordinate training and refresher courses with the F&B Trainer.
  • Foster an environment where employees feel valued, respected, and engaged.
  • Track industry trends and recommend adjustments to menus, pricing, and wage structures.
  • Suggest creative ideas to elevate the kitchen's image and enhance offerings.
  • Interact positively and professionally with colleagues and management across departments.
  • Participate in departmental and interdepartmental meetings, sharing relevant updates.
  • Promote strong relationships, multicultural understanding, and effective two-way communication.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct at all times.
  • Maintain grooming and behaviour standards in line with company expectations.
About You
  • Minimum of 10 years in a senior or supervisory role within 5-star luxury hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, or high-end dining establishments.
  • Proven expertise in modern and classical culinary techniques, with a deep understanding of refined presentation standards.
  • Diploma or degree from a recognized culinary school is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams while maintaining consistency, creativity, and excellence across all kitchen operations.
  • Strong sense of artistic expression and culinary innovation to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
  • Keen attention to detail with the ability to evaluate quality, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Valid Food Handler's Certification is required.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and a genuine passion for delivering world-class cuisine.
