Job summary
A leading construction firm in Dubai is seeking a Cost Control Specialist. The role involves monitoring project costs, preparing financial reports, and coordinating with site teams to ensure project completion. The ideal candidate should have a BSc in Civil Engineering, along with 3 to 5 years of experience in cost control within flooring and waterproofing projects. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and project budgeting are essential. This position offers a dynamic working environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Cost Control, preferably within floor coating and Waterproofing works.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Power BI, formulas, dashboards).
- Solid understanding of project budgeting and comparison between estimated and actual costs.

- Monitor daily project costs and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
- Prepare periodic cost reports, variance analysis, and profitability reviews.
- Coordinate with the site and operations teams to verify the completion of works.

- Prepare cost analysis reports and financial performance dashboards.
- Coordinate with the site and operations teams to verify the completion of works.
- BSc. Civil Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Cost Control, preferably within floor coting , and Waterproofing works.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Power BI, formulas, dashboards).
- Familiar with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Project & Finance modules).
- Solid understanding of project budgeting and comparison between estimated and actual costs.
- Ability to prepare weekly and monthly cost reports and variance analysis.
- Strong coordination skills with Contracts, Operations, and QS teams.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
