The Senior Installation Engineer is responsible for the safe, high-quality, and efficient installation of KONE solutions, adhering to the scope of work, schedule, and budget. This role involves ensuring proper site preparation, leading the installation team, verifying deliverables, coordinating with builders and contractors, and ensuring readiness for customer handovers.

The engineer will also focus on continually improving standard work practices based on Lean principles, proactively leading teams to prevent interruptions, and supporting the installation process as the primary interface with customers and stakeholders.

1. Site Supervision: Ensuring safety, quality, and productivity during installation and handovers, managing risks, and maintaining site readiness and compliance with standards.
2. Planning & Logistics: Organizing installation activities, managing resources, materials, and site logistics, and verifying site plans and costs.
3. Quality & Handover: Verifying installation quality, conducting final testing, managing documentation, and ensuring successful customer handover.
4. Customer Relations: Acting as the primary contact for customer communication, ensuring satisfaction, and maintaining professionalism.
5. People & Subcontractor Management: Ensuring team training, safety, motivation, and performance management, as well as maintaining good relationships with subcontractors.
6. Continuous Improvement: Promoting Lean principles, identifying waste, sharing improvement ideas, and encouraging team development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in elevators & escalators, with a proven track record
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Customer-centric with excellent communication skills
• Excellent health and safety knowledge
