Job summary

A prominent construction firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in lifting operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership in health and safety practices, coordinate all lifting activities, and ensure compliance with project requirements. They must have at least 10 years of experience in industrial construction or process plants, and extensive knowledge of heavy industrial cranes. The role offers a full-time contract without remote work options.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in Lifting Operations at industrial construction sites or process plants.
  • Knowledge of British Standard BS 7121 Part 1 2006.
  • Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate leadership in HSEQ compliance.
  • Coordinate lifting operations and audits.
  • Ensure safety of personnel and lifting equipment.
