Assistant Controller jobs in Germany

Responsibilities:

1. Hands-on experience in construction supervision of long span prestressed bridges and large diameter pile foundations.
2. Inspect site conditions to ensure suitability for designed permanent works.
3. Provide practical advice on construction matters.
4. Inspect construction and temporary works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
5. Maintain records of inspections and other relevant documentation.
6. Direct other inspectors and ensure performance standards are met.
7. Assist in measuring work done when required.
8. Observe and enforce site safety procedures.
9. Assist in the preparation of "as-built" drawings.
10. Inspect completed works, prepare snag lists, and facilitate handover to the operating authority.

Requirements:

• Diploma or associate degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction or operation and maintenance of bridges and interchange projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with contractors, inspectors, and engineers.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations on construction sites.
