Job summary

Simone's Tutoring in Dubai seeks a qualified Yoga Therapist to deliver individualised therapeutic yoga within a clinical framework. You will assess clients, create personalised treatment plans and conduct 1:1 sessions addressing anxiety, depression, chronic pain or trauma.

Applicants must hold a recognised Yoga Therapist qualification (C-IAYT or equivalent, 800+ hours) and a valid UAE licence (DHA/DOH/MOHAP) or eligibility. A flexible freelance schedule and home or school sessions are available.

• Minimum 2 years post-qualification yoga therapy practice.

Responsibilities

• Apply yoga therapy principles to support clients with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, or trauma
• Integrate pranayama, asana, meditation, and yoga philosophy therapeutically
• Collaborate with psychologists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor client progress and adapt therapy plans accordingly
• Maintain ethical, professional therapeutic records

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified Yoga Therapist to provide individualised therapeutic yoga interventions for clients experiencing physical, emotional, or psychological challenges. You will work within a clinical framework to support client wellbeing using the principles of yoga therapy.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct initial yoga therapy assessments and develop personalised treatment plans

Deliver 1:1 yoga therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs

Apply yoga therapy principles to support clients with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, or trauma

Integrate pranayama, asana, meditation, and yoga philosophy therapeutically

Collaborate with psychologists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals

Monitor client progress and adapt therapy plans accordingly

Maintain ethical, professional therapeutic records

Minimum Qualifications

Recognised Yoga Therapist qualification (C-IAYT or equivalent, minimum 800 hours)

Valid DHA, DOH, or MOHAP licence (or eligibility to obtain)

Minimum 2 years post-qualification yoga therapy practice

Strong grounding in anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic contraindications

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with mental health, trauma, or chronic pain clients

Training in mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR)

Child or adolescent yoga therapy experience

UAE Licensing & Professional Requirements

This role requires a valid UAE healthcare professional licence issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH), or Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP). Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant licence before providing services. Licensing requirements must comply with UAE regulations.
