Job summary

Alas Emirates Services LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager – PMV to lead all PMV workshop and maintenance activities, ensuring high availability of vehicles, machinery and equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least 7 years in maintenance within logistics or manufacturing, with strong leadership and ability to drive cost control and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
• Experience in logistics, workshop, PMV, fleet, or heavy equipment maintenance
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance
• Good understanding of concrete manufacturing operations and equipment
• Knowledge of HSE/OSH and environmental requirements
• Strong leadership, analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and team-management abilities

Responsibilities

• Manage PMV workshop and maintenance activities
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are properly implemented
• Maintain high availability and reliability of vehicles, machinery, and equipment
• Manage workshop manpower, spare parts, tools, and maintenance resources
• Monitor breakdowns, repairs, downtime, and maintenance costs
• Ensure compliance with HSE/OSH requirements and safe workshop practices
• Develop supervisors and workshop personnel through training and performance management
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance efficiency, equipment reliability, and cost control
