Job Summary

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for managing and processing warranty claims efficiently and accurately for automotive, ensuring adherence to manufacturer policies and procedures while minimizing financial risk to the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit accurate warranty claims to manufacturers, ensuring all required documentation and justification is included.
• Act as the liaison between the company and equipment manufacturers regarding warranty coverage, approvals, and disputes.
• Maintain complete records of all warranty claims, repairs, parts replaced, and manufacturer responses for audit and reporting purposes.
• Work closely with service advisors, technicians, and workshop foremen to collect relevant repair information, labor hours, and photos to support claims.
• Ensure compliance with warranty policies and prepare for periodic audits conducted by OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).
• Support customers by explaining warranty coverage and status updates and coordinating with the service department to ensure minimal downtime.
• Track claim trends, approval rates, and rejected claims. Prepare periodic reports for management with insights and recommendations.
• Validate parts and labor charged against warranty policies and guidelines to ensure accurate claim submissions.

Qualifications & Certification & Experience (Mandatory & Preferred)

• High School or Diploma in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 1–2 years in a warranty administration role within the automotive industry.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of warranty processes and manufacturer policies.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Familiarity with dealership or service center management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dealer
• Management Software).
• Strong data entry and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
