Job summary

Mohebi Martin Brower Logistics LLC in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai, seeks a warehouse associate to diligently follow safety and quality standards while handling inbound and outbound goods.

You will use the WMS to receive, inspect, and record items, perform picking and palletizing, and ensure accurate stock with FIFO/FEFO. The role requires physical fitness and willingness to work in temperature-controlled zones and different shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience following SMETA SCHR and DQMP guidelines.
• Familiarity with FIFO/FEFO inventory principles.
• Ability to lift and move goods with pallet jacks and power trolleys.
• Willingness to work in temperature-controlled zones.
• Shift work availability.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from trucks or containers.
• Receive, inspect and verify shipments against delivery documents.
• Record quantities in the WMS and update stock records.
• Maintain FIFO/FEFO in warehouse operations.
• Perform picking tasks per WMS instructions and palletize for dispatch.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness; report accidents or faults.
• Conduct daily equipment checks and operate PPE correctly.
• Work in different shifts as required.
• Handle goods in freezer and chilled areas.
• Transport picked items to staging or dispatch area on time.

Job description

• Strictly adhere to company safety and quality standards, including SMETA SCHR and DQMP guidelines.
• Load and unload goods from trucks or containers, accurately receiving and recording quantities in the WMS.
• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments against delivery documents.
• Verify product codes, quantities, and the condition of received goods.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the supervisor immediately.
• Follow FIFO and FEFO inventory principles, and update stock records accurately in system.
• Perform picking tasks precisely as per instructions generated by the WMS.
• Verify product codes, descriptions, and expiry dates when picking orders.
• Pick products accurately according to pick lists and palletize them for dispatch.
• Handle goods carefully during picking to prevent damage or mix-ups.
• Safely transport picked items to the staging or dispatch area on time.
• Comply with all health and safety policies, including proper usage of PPE.
• Conduct daily equipment checks to ensure proper functioning and promptly report any issues or faults.
• Immediately report any accidents, near misses, or unsafe behavior to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area at all times.
• Availability to work in different shift operations is required.
• Physically fit to work in varying temperature-controlled zones such as freezer and chilled areas in the warehouse.
• The role involves lifting, carrying, and moving products using power pallet trolleys and pallet jacks.
