Job summary

Sidco Foods in Dubai is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations. You will assist with receiving, loading, unloading, picking, packing, stock handling, and ensuring a clean and organized warehouse to maintain efficient operations.

Experience in food distribution or cold storage is a plus. The role requires physical fitness, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and good English and Hindi communication skills.

SIDCO FOODS is looking for a hardworking, reliable, and physically fit Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will assist with receiving, loading, unloading, picking, packing, stock handling, order preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.

Experience in food, FMCG, frozen food, or cold-storage operations will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, checking, and moving incoming goods.
• Load and unload products safely from delivery vehicles.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare products according to orders and delivery requirements.
• Arrange products properly in designated warehouse/storage areas.
• Assist the Store Keeper with stock counting and inventory checks.
• Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage, contamination, or loss.
• Follow proper FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
• Assist with transferring and moving stock between warehouse and cold-storage areas.
• Maintain proper organization of products and ensure clear access to storage areas.
• Check product quantities, packaging condition, and labels during receiving and dispatch.
• Support daily loading and dispatch activities according to the delivery schedule.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from unnecessary materials.
• Follow company procedures for food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety.
• Wear required PPE and follow safety instructions at all times.
• Report damaged, missing, expired, or incorrectly stored products to the Store Keeper/Supervisor.
• Assist with regular stock-taking and reconciliation activities.
• Support the warehouse team in maintaining accurate stock movement records.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Assistant, Warehouse Helper, Store Assistant, or similar role is preferred.
• Experience in FMCG, food distribution, frozen foods, or cold storage is an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving goods.
• Basic understanding of warehouse and stock-handling procedures.
• Good English and Hindi communication skills are required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work according to established procedures.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and hardworking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Ability to work in a cold-storage/temperature-controlled environment, where applicable.
• Basic knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and inventory handling is an advantage.
