Job summary

S K Overseas HR Consultancy in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced QA/QC Engineer for EPC oil and gas projects. You will review engineering specs, material requisitions, and vendor documents, and support ITPs and work instructions.

You will lead 3rd party audits, close NCRs and CARs, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015. A Mechanical Engineering degree and 15+ years of QA/QC in EPC are required, with certifications in welding, painting inspection, and ASNT Level-2.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of QA/QC experience in EPC projects.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Lead Auditor ISO 9001:2015 certification required.
• Approval history with ADNOC Group or other Oil & Gas client preferred.
• Certified Welding Inspector (AWS/CSWIP 3.1).
• Certified Painting Inspector (NACE/BGAS L-2).
• ASNT Level-2 certification.

Responsibilities

• Work experience in piping and pipeline projects in Oil & Gas sector.
• Review Engineering Specifications, Material Requisitions, and vendor documents for LLIs.
• Review TBE and generate Pre-inspection meeting outputs.
• Prepare project-specific procedures, ITPs, and Work Instructions.
• Knowledge of welding processes and cross-country pipeline work.
• Coordinate for 3rd party audits and act as Lead Auditor.
• Close NCRs and CARs and manage deviation/technical queries.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Working experience in various piping and pipeline projects in Oil and Gas sector.
• Familiarized with Project codes, specification, and International standards.
• Technical ability to review Engineering Specifications, Material requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluation(TBE)and vendor documents for LLIs. Experience to perform Pre-inspection meeting.
• Experience in preparation of Project specific procedures, Inspection and Test plans (ITP) and Work Instructions.
• Thorough Knowledge in welding and welding processes including Cross country pipeline work.
• Able to handle static and rotating equipment.
• Coordinate for 3rd party audits and act as Lead auditor to perform project, subcontractor, and vendor audits.
• Lead role in closing of NCRs and CAR’s.
• Document preparation for Technical query and Technical deviation request process.
