Job summary

S K Overseas HR Consultancy seeks a highly experienced Painting Inspector for Oil & Gas projects in the Middle East. You will establish ITPs, finalize coating procedures, and witness coating testing for pipeline materials.

The role requires 15+ years in painting inspection, ADNOC or similar client exposure, and a NACE/BGAS certification, with willingness to reside in site accommodation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience in Painting Inspection for Oil & Gas projects in the Middle East.
• Exposure to field joint coating in Pipelines (HSS/HB-HT/ Wrapping Methods)
• Willing to reside in site project accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Establish Inspection and Test plan (ITP) with respect to project Standards and Specifications.
• Finalize Painting Procedure Specifications and Conduct PQT/ Coating Applicator Test and witness Coating related testing of specimens.
• Prepare Material Approval Requests (MAR) for Painting materials.
• Carry out inspection for factory applied coating 3-layer polypropylene coating (3LPP/3LPE/2LFBE).
• Supervise QA/QC activities related to Painting for Pipelines/Piping and Structures.
• Compile QC painting/coating records.

• Responsible for final compilation of QC painting/coating records.

Preferred candidate profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years experience in Painting Inspection related to Oil & Gas projects in Middle East.
• Previous approval in ADNOC Group or other Oil/Gas Client. Certified Painting inspection qualification (NACE/ BGAS ).
• Exposure to field joint coating in Pipelines (HSS/HB-HT/ Wrapping Methods)
• Candidates need to possess exposure to coating activities for cross country pipeline projects.
• Willing to reside in site project accommodation.
