Job summary

EPIC Piping in Abu Dhabi invites a Senior QC Engineer to lead QA/QC on piping fabrication projects. You will develop and implement QA/QC procedures, review specifications, blueprints, and project requirements, and perform inspections of welds, joints, and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor in mechanical or metallurgical engineering, 13+ years' oil & gas QA/QC experience, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, ASNT Level II (RT/UT/MT/PT), CSWIP 3.2 or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or metallurgical engineering.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.
• ASNT Level II in RT, UT, MT, and PT.
• CSWIP 3.2 or AWS-SCWI.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and Sec IX is mandatory.
• Having a total experience of min. 13 years as QC Engineer in the Oil & Gas PROJECTs.
• Hands on experience in welding, NDT, and coating / painting.
• Good command in PROJECT Quality auditing.
• Strong coordination and reporting skills.
• MS Excel is mandatory.
• Fluent English lingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) procedures for piping fabrication projects.
• Review and interpret piping system specifications, blueprints, and project requirements.
• Conduct inspections and tests on piping systems, including welds, joints, and materials, to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify non-conformance issues and initiate corrective actions.
• Monitor and verify the implementation of corrective actions to ensure effective resolution of quality issues.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of inspection processes and findings.
• Collaborate with project teams and contractors to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and best practices, and implement changes in QA/QC processes as necessary
