Job summary

Sofitel Dubai The Palm is seeking a courteous Room Service Attendant to deliver and set up food and beverages in guest rooms, ensuring impeccable presentation and service. You will handle orders, coordinate with kitchen staff, and maintain room service areas with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have experience in food service, strong communication, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment along the Dubai beachfront.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests via phone or in person.
• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Set up and clear dining areas in guest rooms, ensuring cleanliness.
• Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including specials and dietary needs.
• Process guest payments and handle transactions (cash/credit card).
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Ensure proper setup of trays, carts, and room service equipment.
• Restock and replenish room service items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the room service area.
• Assist with preparing condiments, utensils, and beverages for service.
• Ensure guests are satisfied and encourage feedback.
