Job summary

Black Pearl Consult seeks an experienced Vice President of Supply Chain to lead the end-to-end supply chain for a major UAE utility project. The role requires senior leadership in procurement, logistics, inventory and supplier management within utilities or infrastructure.

The successful candidate will develop strategies to support reliability, financial targets, sustainability and Emiratisation goals while driving continuous improvement and cost optimisation.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership in supply chain, procurement or commercial roles.
• Experience across procurement, contracting, logistics, inventory and supplier management.
• Track record delivering end-to-end supply-chain improvements for large projects.
• Strong understanding of CapEx/OpEx budgeting and cost optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall Supply Chain strategy aligned with business objectives and KPIs.
• Lead end-to-end procurement activities for capital projects including EPC contracts and major equipment.
• Oversee logistics, inventory planning and supplier performance management.
• Drive digital procurement and supply-chain system integration (ERP, CMMS).
• Prepare and present supply-chain performance reports and strategic recommendations.
