Job summary

Black Pearl Consult is seeking a Vice President – Supply Chain to lead and transform the end-to-end supply chain for a major UAE utility. The role demands extensive experience in procurement, logistics, inventory and supplier management across utilities, water, power or infrastructure.

The successful candidate will develop and execute strategies to support reliability, financial performance and capital projects while promoting Emiratisation and local talent development.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in SCM or related field; strategically capable leader.
• Experience leading end-to-end supply chain and procurement.
• Strong procurement, contract management and supplier relations.
• Experience with ERP, e-procurement and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement overall supply chain strategy in line with business goals.
• Lead end-to-end procurement for capital projects and maintenance programs.
• Oversee logistics planning, inventory strategies and demand forecasting.
• Lead supplier performance management and strategic sourcing.
• Drive digital procurement and supply-chain system integration.
• Monitor KPIs and drive cost optimization and continuous improvement.
• Prepare performance reports for senior leadership and finance teams.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing supply chain organization.
