Job summary

BettingJobs is seeking a senior executive to lead supervision of land-based casinos in Abu Dhabi, ensuring regulatory compliance and integrity of the gaming industry. You will oversee inspections, risk-based supervision and data-driven reporting to regulators and management.

The role requires extensive regulatory experience, leadership and collaboration with law enforcement and industry bodies, with a strong focus on policy development and enforcement measures.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in regulatory compliance and supervision in gaming or a regulator.
• Strong knowledge of gaming laws, regulations and industry standards.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in law, business or public administration.
• Familiarity with supervision frameworks and risk-based approaches.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Leadership and team management abilities; strong communication with stakeholders.
• Certifications related to regulatory compliance or supervision (e.g., CRCM, CGCS) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive supervision strategy aligned with objectives.
• Establish risk-based supervision frameworks to monitor licensees and operators.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of gaming establishments for compliance.
• Build robust monitoring systems to track activities and recommend actions.
• Analyze data and KPIs to identify trends and risks to integrity.
• Prepare reports for senior management and regulators with findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with external agencies and industry groups to share best practices.
• Contribute to development and revision of gaming regulations and guidelines.
