Job summary

General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) in the UAE seeks a VP of Supervision for Land Based Casinos to oversee regulatory compliance, supervise operations, and enforce standards across licensed venues. The rolechampions risk-based approaches, coordinates with law enforcement and regulators, and drives continuous improvement of gaming regulations.

Qualifications

• Extensive regulatory compliance experience in gaming or a regulatory agency.
• Familiarity with supervision frameworks and risk-based approaches.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Professional certifications in regulatory compliance (e.g., CRCM, CGCS) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a supervision strategy aligned with GCGRA objectives.
• Establish risk-based supervision frameworks to monitor operators.
• Conduct regular inspections of gaming establishments for compliance.
• Monitor activities of licensees and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze data and KPIs to identify trends and risks to integrity.
• Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with external agencies and industry bodies to share best practices.
• Provide input to enhance regulatory frameworks and guidelines.

Education

Bachelor's degree in law / business / public administration

Master's degree in a relevant field
