Job summary

Client of Betting Jobs in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior regulatory compliance professional to lead supervision of gaming operators in Abu Dhabi. You will design risk-based supervision frameworks, conduct inspections, analyze KPIs, and prepare reports for senior management and regulators.

You will collaborate with law enforcement, other regulators, and industry associations, provide input on standards, and contribute to gaming regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in regulatory compliance or supervision within gaming or related regulatory bodies.
• Strong knowledge of gaming laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in law, business, or public administration.
• Familiarity with supervision frameworks, methodologies, and risk-based approaches.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Professional certifications related to regulatory compliance or supervision (e.g., CRCM, CGCS) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supervision strategies aligned with objectives.
• Establish risk-based supervision frameworks and methodologies.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of gaming establishments for regulatory compliance.
• Establish monitoring systems to track operator activities.
• Identify non-compliance areas and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze data and KPIs to identify trends and risks to integrity.
• Prepare reports communicating findings to management and regulators.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders (regulators, law enforcement, industry associations).
• Provide input on regulatory requirements and best practices to enhance the framework.
• Contribute to development and revision of gaming regulations and guidelines.
