Job summary

UAE-based entity is seeking a dynamic Vice President Finance to lead the financial strategy and oversee budgeting, planning, reporting, treasury and risk management. This senior role requires steering executive decisions, ensuring financial discipline and driving sustainable performance in a regulated environment.

Ideal candidate has extensive leadership experience in complex organizations and fluency in English (Arabic a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• 12–16 years of experience with Bachelor's, or 8–10 years with Master's in financial management or related discipline.
• Proven track record in executive financial leadership in regulated or government-linked environments.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (a plus, not mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Lead formulation and execution of long-term financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Direct annual budgeting, long-term forecasting and financial performance reporting to senior leadership.
• Manage treasury operations, cash flow forecasting and investment strategies.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks including market, credit and operational risks.
• Implement robust financial systems and technologies for improved reporting and control.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team with mentoring and succession planning.
• Drive cost efficiency, governance and cross-unit financial discipline.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with strategic plans and KPIs.
