Job summary

Detailed Job Description

As a VIP Support Engineer supporting executive leadership in Abu Dhabi via ITXcellence, you will take full operational ownership of white-glove desktop, mobile, collaboration, and server infrastructure support. Your day-to-day responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for VIP technical issues, troubleshooting advanced hardware and software faults across Wintel environments, and managing pre-meeting readiness and executive event support. You will administer Microsoft Teams Rooms, live town hall broadcasts, Exchange Online mailboxes, calendar delegations, and Active Directory group policies. Furthermore, you will coordinate with external vendors and L3 engineering teams, provide on-site support during high-profile ministry events, manage endpoint security and MDM policies, and maintain strict confidentiality of all executive information.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end white-glove VIP technical support as the primary point of contact for executive leadership and senior management.
• Troubleshoot complex desktop, mobile, collaboration, server, and storage issues across Windows 10/11 and Wintel environments.
• Deliver comprehensive pre-meeting readiness, technical preparation, and executive event support for high-profile sessions.
• Manage and support Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Teams Rooms, live broadcasting events, and corporate town halls.
• Administer Exchange Online, corporate mailboxes, calendar delegations, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Oversee SAN/NAS storage arrays, file services, NTFS permissions, and enterprise backup/restore routines.
• Configure and manage Microsoft 365 services, Intune endpoint security, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Coordinate seamlessly with external technology vendors, L3 specialist teams, and security functions during ministry events.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 6 to 10 years of professional IT infrastructure experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to VIP/Executive support.
• Mandatory fluent professional communication proficiency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Executive-appropriate communication, professional demeanor, and uncompromised executive presence.
• Deep technical proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Wintel administration.
• Comprehensive expertise in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, VPN, Wi-Fi connectivity, routing, firewall fundamentals, and endpoint security.
• Ability to pass rigorous background security vetting, obtain clean police clearance, and maintain absolute confidentiality.
