Job summary

FinSearch, a stealth-mode fintech in Abu Dhabi, seeks a hands-on VP of Product to own and scale its payments platform. You will lead from the current MVP to a robust, commercially viable product, driving integrations and AI-powered features in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.

The role requires deep payments infrastructure expertise, strong engineering instincts, and proven ability to turn early-stage concepts into scalable solutions. Hybrid presence in Abu Dhabi is expected.

VP of Product - (Fintech stealth-mode business)

• Location: Abu Dhabi (2-3 days a week)

We are working with a well-funded stealth-mode fintech business building payment infrastructure for businesses operating across international markets.

The company has an MVP in place and is now entering its next phase of growth.

It is looking for a hands-on VP of Product leader to take ownership of the existing platform, strengthen or rebuild it where necessary, and scale it into a robust, commercially viable product.

This is a high-impact role for someone with deep payments infrastructure experience, a strong technical background, and a proven ability to turn early-stage products into scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate will combine product leadership with an engineering mindset and practical experience building AI-powered products.

Key Responsibilities

• Product strategy and execution: Own the product roadmap and lead the evolution of the existing MVP into a scalable platform, making informed decisions on whether to enhance or replace existing functionality.
• Payments infrastructure: Drive product development across cross-border payments and virtual accounts for payment acceptance, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and user experience.
• Bank and MTO integrations: Lead the delivery of at least 6–7 bank and money transfer operator (MTO) integrations over the next 6–12 months, establishing repeatable integration frameworks and processes.
• Internal systems and automation: Build in-house admin and operations tools to support transaction monitoring, reconciliation, exception handling, partner management, and day-to-day operational workflows.
• AI-powered products: Identify and deliver AI-powered product features that create tangible value for customers and differentiate the platform.
• AI-driven operations: Implement AI agents to automate internal workflows, reduce manual intervention, and improve operational efficiency.
• Cross-functional leadership: Work closely with the CEO, engineering, commercial, compliance, and operations teams to translate business priorities into product outcomes.

Experience:

• Product leadership experience in fintech, payments, financial infrastructure, or a related technology business.
• Strong practical knowledge of cross-border payments and virtual accounts for payment acceptance.
• Experience managing bank, MTO, PSP, or other payment infrastructure integrations.
• An engineering or software development background is strongly preferred, with the ability to engage in technical discussions around APIs, system architecture, and integration design.
• Experience shipping AI-powered product features and deploying AI agents to automate internal business or operational processes.
• Experience building internal operational tools and improving workflows through automation.
• A hands-on, execution-focused approach, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints, and business priorities.
