Job Purpose
The role holder will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap and feature definition for digital payments product and partner integration. He/she must work closely with business stakeholders to achieve value and collaborate with tech teams by setting priorities and roadmaps. In addition, Product manager will be responsible for identifying potential products, conducting market research, generating product requirements, determining specifications, prioritization of products, working with business stakeholders to capture user flows and laying out highly detailed product requirements.
Core duties and responsibilities
- Be the main point of contact between business teams and development for initiating development of new products.
- Collaborate with multiple business stakeholders to scope, design, concept test and deliver products.
- Develop feature lists, enhancements and roadmaps.
- Be a champion of the MVP concept, distilling the product down to what is desirable, viable and feasible.
- Develop detailed business requirements that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product or partner integration.
- Gather and manage product feedback through user testing, concept testing, analytics tools and A/B testing.
- Ensure communication to share progress to partners and business teams.
- Assist in the development of new business proposals.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may hinder a team’s ability to meet strategic, operational and technical goals.
- Coordinate with the Legal, Compliance and Risk departments. Ensure strategies and execution for the set of features under their control are delivered flawlessly and meet key compliance, risk and control standards.
- Managing the product backlog.
- Ensure products or integrations are prioritized and delivered on a timely basis to incur minimum opportunity loss.
- Ensure advanced knowledge of systems and understand the criteria for product partner integration (API, Web-based, etc.).
- Work with development team to refine and improve the development process.
- Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process.
- Break down sophisticated problems into manageable goals and find simple solutions to meet diverse needs.
- Comfortable with prioritizing and managing trade-offs with competing internal requests.
- Develop product requirements based on research, data and insights.
- Ensure proper data recording and safeguarding for future reference.
- Constantly analyze customer needs and current market trends.
- Build and nurture a customer-centric culture.
- Be the voice of the user and define delightful, engaging experiences for the product.
- Ensure all services provided by the function are compliant with the CBUAE policies and procedures.
- Be aware within the team and wider organisation of the employee responsibility in working in a risk-free and compliant manner.
- Attend risk and compliance awareness programmes during the course of the employment.

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in science, financial services or related areas or relevant subject or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Relevant Experience
Minimum 4 years' relevant experience in a financial institution. Prior experience in banking or fintech or a similar industry is preferred.
