Job summary

DP World in Dubai is seeking a Vessel Compliance and Operations Coordinator to ensure regulatory compliance and technical coordination for marine vessels. You will oversee adherence to international maritime standards while providing support across fleet operations.

• Coordinate with fleet and technical teams on class and statutory survey due dates.
• Maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned vessels comply with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISM, MLC, ISPS and relevant international and local maritime regulations
• Support implementation of company SMS and BMS requirements across fleet operations
• Monitor and follow up on client concerns, audit findings and corrective actions for assigned vessels
• Track PSC, external audit findings and ensure timely closure of non‑conformities and improvement reports
• Coordinate with fleet and technical teams on class and statutory survey due dates
• Support vessels in executing self‑verification programs and safety initiatives
• Act as primary communication focal point for assigned vessels and coordinate operational updates
• Participate in daily technical and operations meetings and provide performance updates
• Ensure vessel certification, documentation and regulatory publications are valid and updated
• Monitor fuel tracking systems, consumables, oil sampling and defect reporting
• Coordinate vendor services, repairs, docking activities and warehouse logistics support
• Escalate critical deficiencies, detainable conditions or certification risks to management
• Maintain accurate records within shared systems and support continuous improvement initiatives
