Job summary

Birg is building a venture studio portfolio and is looking for a founder-minded operator to oversee execution across multiple ventures. You’ll implement a scalable operating system, drive launches on time, recruit venture leaders, and orchestrate AI-enabled workflows to manage a growing portfolio.

The role emphasizes disciplined planning, cross-portfolio governance, and the ability to surface risks early while maintaining pace and quality across ventures.

Qualifications

• 6+ years operating in startups, venture building, or general management across multiple companies.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating system end to end and hold every venture to its M0/M1/M2 gates.
• Drive Venture 001 and Venture 002 from readiness to launch; plan Venture 003.
• Attract and hire Venture CEOs or EIRs for the portfolio.
• Run the venture studio’s operating cadence: annual planning → quarterly mapping → monthly plans → weekly deliverables.
• Build the AI operating layer and lean teams for portfolio needs.
