Job summary

VentureOne in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Investor Relations Manager to lead fundraising efforts, evaluate investment opportunities, and manage strategic transactions across VentureOne and its portfolio. The role focuses on building relationships with global investors, conducting financial modelling, and supporting capital-raising activities.

Responsibilities

• Fundraising: support and manage fundraising processes for VentureOne portfolio companies, from investor targeting and outreach through due diligence, term sheet negotiation and closing.
• Investor relations & outreach: build and maintain relationships with venture capital funds, private equity investors, sovereign investors, family offices, strategic investors, and other sources of institutional capital.
• Investment analysis: evaluate new investment and venture opportunities through financial, commercial, strategic, and market analysis.
• Financial modelling & valuation: build and review financial models, conduct valuation analysis, and develop financing scenarios and investor return scenarios.
• Transaction execution: support investment and financing transactions, including due diligence, transaction structuring, term sheet negotiations, and coordination with legal, finance, management teams, and external advisors.
• Investor pipeline management: develop and maintain a structured pipeline of prospective investors and track engagement, feedback, investment appetite, and next steps throughout fundraising processes.
• Market & investor research: identify relevant investors, comparable transactions, valuation benchmarks, market trends, and financing activity across VentureOne's priority sectors.
• Investment presentations: prepare investment recommendations, transaction analyses, and strategic materials for senior management.
• Portfolio support: work closely with portfolio company leadership on fundraising strategy, financing requirements, investor positioning, capital structure, and other strategic initiatives.
• Strategic projects: support selected M&A, joint venture, partnership, and other strategic investment opportunities across VentureOne and its portfolio.

About The Role

We are seeking a Investor Relations Manager to join VentureOne and support fundraising, investment activities, and strategic transactions across VentureOne and its portfolio companies. The role will work closely with leadership teams and investors to support capital raising, assess investment opportunities, execute transactions, and build long-term relationships with the global investment community. The ideal candidate will have experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, corporate development, or fundraising, with strong financial, commercial, and transaction execution capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Fundraising: Support and manage fundraising processes for VentureOne portfolio companies, from investor targeting and outreach through due diligence, term sheet negotiation and closing.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, growth equity, corporate development, transaction advisory, or a similar investment-focused role.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or executing fundraising, investment, M&A, or other corporate transactions.
• Experience working with technology, deep-tech, or early-stage/high-growth companies is preferred.
