Job summary

Reliant HR Consultancy seeks a highly experienced Valve Technician to repair, overhaul and test safety valves and related process valves in a petrochemical/Oil & Gas environment. You will dismantle, inspect, repair and reassemble valves, conduct hydrostatic/pneumatic tests and calibrations, and ensure traceability of test records.

The role requires strong hands-on capability with PSV/PRV/SRV, control and isolation valves, plus excellent English and HSE practices. On-site work in UAE is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in valve repair, testing and bench fitting.
• Experience in Petrochemical / Petroleum Refinery / Oil & Gas / Hydrocarbon plants.
• Strong hands-on experience with PSV/PRV/SRV, Control Valves and Process Isolation Valves.
• Experience with hydrostatic and pneumatic testing.
• Good written and spoken English; MS Office knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of HSE and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Repair, overhaul and recondition Safety Pressure Relief Valves and process valves.

• Test valves using hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, seat leakage tests.
• Calibrate and test safety valves on valve test benches.

Job description

Repair overhaul and recondition Safety Pressure Relief Valves and process valves Work on Gate Globe Ball Butterfly Diaphragm Plug and Control Valves Diagnose valve problems in workshops and operating plants Dismantle inspect repair and reassemble valves Perform valve lapping and trim repair replacement Conduct hydrostatic pneumatic pressure and seat-leakage testing Carry out calibration and testing of safety valves using valve test benches Troubleshoot Control Valve actuators positioners and valve bodies Perform stroke testing using 4 20 mA and HART calibrators Operate maintain and prepare valve test benches and workshop equipment Carry out maintenance and testing of high-pressure hydraulic valves Maintain records of valve repairs testing and calibration certificates Ensure proper identification and traceability of valves spares and test equipment Follow company HSE PTW e-WMS and PPE requirements
