Job Brief:

Our client is seeking an experiencedSalesEngineer – Mechanical / Valves with strong technical and commercial experience in industrial valves, oilfield equipment, and related mechanical products to support their oil and gas business.

The role involves handling sales enquiries, RFQs, technical and commercial quotations, and project requirements for ADNOC group companies, EPC contractors, utilities, and industrial end users, while coordinating with international manufacturers and suppliers.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of regional sales experience in oil and gas equipment, valves, or industrial trading, with strong knowledge of valve applications, technical documentation, procurement processes, and client relationship management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive and review enquiries and RFQs from ADNOC, EPC contractors, and end users, and register them in the enquiry register.
• Coordinate with international manufacturers and suppliers to obtain technical and commercial offers within the required timelines.
• Handle enquiries for a wide range of industrial and oil and gas valves, including manual, pig, choke, check, butterfly, gate, globe, ball, and other related valve products.
• Prepare and submit quotations, technical clarifications, compliance statements, and supporting documentation to clients.
• Follow up on submitted quotations, attend clarification meetings, and support commercial negotiations through to order placement.
• Track orders from award through delivery, coordinating with operations on shipments, documentation, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and suppliers and develop relationships within existing accounts.
• Identify new sales opportunities with ADNOC group companies, EPC contractors, utilities, and industrial end users.
• Support prequalification, vendor registration, and technical submissions when required.
• Keep management informed of important commercial and technical matters, including delays, client feedback, opportunities, and risks.
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, orders, correspondence, and follow-ups.
• Coordinate internally with management, operations, finance, and other team members to ensure timely execution of business.

Product Portfolio – Mechanical & Oilfield Equipment

• Industrial Valves: Ball valves, gate valves, globe valves, butterfly valves, check valves, choke valves, pig valves, and other manual valves.
• Actuated Valves: Pneumatic and electric actuated valves and related valve automation equipment.
• Pipeline Valves & Accessories: Pipeline isolation valves, valve fittings, and related accessories.
• Pumps & Pumping Equipment: Industrial pumps, centrifugal pumps, and associated pumping equipment.
• Pipes, Fittings & Flanges: Industrial piping products, pipe fittings, flanges, and related accessories.
• Mechanical Equipment: Industrial motors, mechanical components, and associated equipment.
• Oilfield Equipment: Oil and gas production equipment, spare parts, and related mechanical products.
• Instrumentation: Industrial instrumentation and related equipment used in oil and gas applications.

Job Requirements:

• Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in oil and gas equipment, valves, or industrial trading.
• Proven experience dealing with ADNOC, EPC contractors, and oil and gas end users.
• Strong technical knowledge of valves and their applications in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with manual and actuated valves, pipeline valves, or related oil and gas equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with the region's oil and gas procurement processes, RFQs, technical submissions, and commercial documentation.
• A valid driving license is preferred.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
• Organised, responsive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Only candidates with relevant oil and gas, ADNOC, or EPC sales experience will be considered.
