Job summary

DBB in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Foreman in Utilities & Roads to oversee construction and maintenance of utility systems and road infrastructure. You will lead a team of workers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specification.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers and engineers, conducting safety inspections, and maintaining accurate progress records in outdoor environments. A proven track record and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Foreman in the utilities and roads construction industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of construction techniques, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor environments.
• Certification or training in construction management or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of workers, including laborers, equipment operators, and technicians, to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute utility and road construction projects.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety standards are met and quality of work is maintained.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during construction, such as equipment malfunctions or unexpected obstacles.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, material usage, and employee attendance.
