Job summary

DBB is seeking a highly skilled HSE Engineer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on infrastructure sites in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves developing and implementing HSE policies, conducting regular inspections, and providing training to staff and contractors.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, proven HSE experience on roads, bridges and utilities, and strong knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as an HSE Engineer on infrastructure projects involving roads, bridges, and utilities.
• Certification in HSE management is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures for infrastructure projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
• Provide HSE training to site staff and contractors.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date on regulations and industry best practices.
