Job summary

Guildhall is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Dubai. The role focuses on coordinating MEP works for underground station construction and ensuring alignment with civil, structural, and architectural disciplines.

The candidate will review drawings, shop drawings, and method statements while coordinating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant MEP experience, with strong underground station experience preferred, ideally within metro, railway, or high-speed rail projects.
• Strong experience in MEP coordination and site execution.
• Main contractor experience is preferred.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and English are required.
• UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage MEP works for underground station construction.
• Manage interfaces between MEP, civil, structural and architectural works.
• Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, technical submissions and method statements.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, drainage, fire protection and other station systems.
• Identify and resolve MEP clashes and construction interface issues.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Support site execution and ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Facilitate technical communication between Chinese and international project teams.
